Detailed Safari Itinerary of the 9 Days Kenya Wildlife Safari Tour to Safari Destinations

Day 1: Arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport & transfer to the Hotel in Nairobi-Kenya

Arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Meet, greet and brief introduction with one of our company staff. Airport transfer to the arranged hotel for leisure in Nairobi-Kenya`s capital.

Accommodation: Jacaranda Hotel

Day 2: Depart from Nairobi to Samburu National reserve (350kms – Approx. 6.5hrs drive).

After breakfast at the hotel in Nairobi, enjoy a leisurely drive transfer at 0630hrs to Samburu National Reserve. You will appreciate the impressive views of pineapple plantations on fertile lands en route. Arriving in time for lunch at the lodge and relaxation in the afternoon. Do a game drive in the late afternoon at 16hrs in search for wildlife.

Day 3: A whole day game drive in Samburu National Reserve

Depart for an early morning game drive at 0630hrs searching for wildlife. Return to the lodge for a leisurely breakfast and afternoon relaxation. Return to the wild at 1600hrs for a game drive in search for wildlife.

Accommodation: Samburu Intrepids Luxury tented camp

Day 4: Transfer from Samburu to Aberdare National park (200kms – Approx. 4hrs drive)

Enjoy breakfast in the morning and transfer to Aberdare National Park. Arrive at the base hotel “Aberdare country club” at lunch. Enjoy the leisurely afternoon walks in the beautiful gardens at the hotel. Transfer by the Scheduled bus to The Tree hotel and enjoy the leisurely views of wildlife directly from the lodge as they approach the waterhole for water and salt lick.

Day 5: Depart from Aberdare National park to Lake Nakuru National park (185kms – Approx. 4hrs drive)

Arranged transfer to the Base hotel after breakfast and transfer in our waiting company vehicle to lake Nakuru National Park. Traverse Nyahururu to enjoy e drive with impressive views en route and a brief stop at the Thompson falls. Arrive for lunch at the lodge and relax in the afternoon. Embark on an evening game drive at 1600hrs in search for wild life.

Accommodation: Flamingo Hill Tented Camp

Day 6: Transfer from Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara National Reserve (235kms – Approx. 5hrs drive).

Transfer at 800hrs after breakfast to the world`s famous wildlife destination Maasai Mara Game Reserve. Arriving in time for lunch and enjoy leisurely afternoon. Start with a search for wildlife in a game drive at 1600hrs.

Accommodation: Mara Leisure Cam

Day 7 & day 8: Explorative game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve.

Depart at 0630hrs for a morning game drive in search for wildlife (You have higher chances of experiencing the African big five in Maasai Mara). Return for breakfast at your lodge and spend the afternoon enjoying leisure time. Embark on an evening game drive at 1600hrs in search for wildlife.

Accommodation: Mara Leisure Camp

Day 9: return from Maasai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi (260kmss – Approx. 5hrs)

Enjoy an early morning breakfast and transfer to Nairobi. Arrive at The Carnivore Restaurant in time for lunch to enjoy the well-prepared game meat and barbeque. Visiting gift shops and souvenir shops in Nairobi for memorabilia to take back home and transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for the flight back home.
