Detailed Itinerary of the 3 Days Kenya Safari to Tsavo West & Amboseli National Parks

Day 1: Transfer to Tsavo West National Park & do game drive

Depart at 6am from your place of stay in Nairobi to Tsavo West National Park 250km about 4 hours’ drive enjoying the views of countryside landscapes. Upon arrival, engage in a rewarding game drive exploring the wild game along with the incredible sights of the latest volcanoes, the lava flora, the famous Mzima Springs with under water fish and Hippo views.

Day 2: Morning game drive in Tsavo West National Park & transfer to Amboseli National Park for an evening game drive

Set off for an early game drive in Tsavo West National Park searching for those that you might have missed on the previous day. From the activity, proceed on the drive to Amboseli National Park 100km about 2 hours’ drive. Upon arrival, engage in an evening game drive spotting the easily seen species while enjoying the great views of Kilimanjaro Mountain – Africa’s highest Mountain.

Day 3: Morning game drive in Amboseli National Park & transfer back to Nairobi

Engage in another extensive game drive in the famous Amboseli National Park for more wild-game sights and interesting landscapes. Likely possibilities include; great counts of Elephant herds, the beautiful landscape which can be swampy in the wet season and dusty in the dry season. Other likely wild-game sights include Wildebeest, Lions, Buffalos, Leopard, Impala, Zebra, Maasai giraffe and Gazelle. Enjoy the views of the park from the Observation hill while an optional Maasai community tour can be considered as well. Return to Nairobi to mark the end of the safari.
