Detailed Safari Itinerary of the 10 Days Kenya Tanzania Wildlife Safari

Day 1:  Arrive in Nairobi Kenya & transfer to the Hotel

Meet and greet at JKIA by our driver/guide. Transfer to the hotel for relaxation & overnight.

Accommodation: Crown Plaza Hotel

 Day 2:  Transfer to Amboseli National Park & do game drive

After breakfast depart for Amboseli National park. Enjoy a leisurely drive arriving in time for lunch at the lodge/Camp. Amboseli is dominated by the back drop of the mighty Mount Kilimanjaro – the tallest mountain in Africa. It’s famous for its large herds of grazing elephants, lions, cheetah, buffalos, antelopes among other wildlife. Afternoon game drives at 1600 hrs in search of the wildlife.

Day 3: Transfer to Serengeti National Park via Isebania

Morning breakfast and depart for Arusha via Namanga Border. After clearing with immigration officials depart for Arusha for a hot lunch Arusha Coffee Lodge. After a sumptuous meal proceed towards Tarangire National Park.

Day 4: Game drive in Tarangire National Park & transfer to Karatu

Morning breakfast and depart with picnic lunch for half day game drives in Tarangire. Explore the vast park. At noon depart for Ngorongoro Conservation area. Arrive in Karatu for relaxation, dinner and overnight

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater game drive & transfer to Serengeti National Park

Descend down the famous crater. The Ngorongoro Crater ranks as one of the most spectacular wildlife destinations on Earth. This long-extinct volcano is the world’s largest intact caldera and its walls contain an incredible array of habitats, which in turn support an astonishing population of game. With springs and streams to support their water needs, the animals need never leave the crater, and the natural barricades of its walls have protected a population of elephants with enormous tusks, black rhinos and black-maned lions, among others. Afternoon depart for Serengeti.

Day 6 & 7: Unlimited game drive in Serengeti National Park

Full day game drives. Serengeti covers an area of 14,763 sq km and is a contiguous of the Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya. Serengeti is among the largest National Park in Tanzania and also the most famous National Park in Tanzania. It’s most famous because of the annual migration of wildebeest’s herds in search of better grazing. Serengeti is also famous for its lions, cheetahs, large herds of Zebras, herds of giraffes, Thomson’s and Grant’s gazelles, elands, impalas, warthogs, and also rich in bird life.

Day 8:  Serengeti – Isebania – Maasai mara

Meet and greet at Isebania Border. After a brief introduction depart for Maasai Mara.

This is a vast area of grassy plains converging by the meandering Mara river. It is an African Gem and an area rich in culture, tradition, beauty and home to the big five. Game drives en-route to the camp.

Day 9:  Unlimited game drive in Maasai Mara

Morning tea or coffee, early morning game drive, watch the savannah waking up, return to the camp for breakfast. Take a guided camp walk, learn more about sustainable tourism, visit the Masai Arts & Crafts Workshop, or visit a local cultural Masai village to learn more about this unique tribe that co-exist freely with wildlife (Extra Cost). Afternoon game drives at 1600 hrs in search of the big five. Alternatively depart with picnic lunch for a full day game drives in search of the wildlife.

Day 10:  Transfer to Nairobi for departure. Sightseeing of Great Rift valley

Morning breakfast and depart with picnic lunch for Nairobi. Enjoy a leisurely drive with a brief stopover at the view point to marvel at the scenic beauty of the Great Rift Valley. Arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon and transfer to JKIA for your fight out.
