Description of the 1 Day Kenya Safari to Nairobi City Tour
Depart from the hotel at 8am and embark on a rewarding Nairobi city encounter. You visit the Karen Blixen Museum for 2 hours along Karen road in the Nairobi outskirts exploring its rich history that emanates far back to 1914 when Karen Blixen arrived from Denmark and settled as a farmer at the bottom of Ngong Hills. Until her departure in 1931, Karen who also authored Out of Africa left a great legacy in the history of Kenya that is worth exploring.
Proceed to tour the David Sheldrick baby elephant orphanage between 11am to 12 noon to view the beautiful baby elephant feeding.
Settle for lunch at Carnivore restaurant and in the afternoon, visit the Giraffe Center to explore the Rothschild Giraffe. Later, visit the Kazuri Beads Centre to explore the women artisans on duty where you can as well get yourself a souvenir. Return to the hotel to mark the end of the tour.
